Where to find Merlins in Arizona

 

A pair of Merlins, as well as Prairie Falcons and Harriers, frequent a cattle trough east of Patagonia in the San Rafael Valley.  This one is exhausted after chasing a sparrow around the trough.

 

This beautiful Prairie Merlin was perched in "down town" Elfrida, in Sulfur Springs Valley.
